Overview

Spatial Insights Inc, is an authorized reseller of MPSI® traffic counts data. TrafficMetrix® is compiled traffic information from almost 6,000 sources, including municipalities, departments of transportation and local governments. MPSI® then combines the data with their own field-verified traffic data gathered from on-site surveys.

MPSI® has just released an update to its TrafficMetrix® product, version 10.1, containing 1,260,726 traffic count locations. Note that 33,547 data points were added or updated for this release. The geographies updated in this release are:

440,730 of the total counts in version 10.1 are dated Year 2005 or more recent. Also note that this release contains the eleventh group of counties that we have realigned through the TIGER® Accuracy Improvement Program (a program used to improve the alignment of traffic data to the street networks). The number of realigned counties for this release is 7, bringing the total number of counties realigned thus far to 2252.
