Spatial Insights Inc, is an authorized reseller of MPSI® traffic counts data. TrafficMetrix® is compiled traffic information from almost 6,000 sources, including municipalities, departments of transportation and local governments. MPSI® then combines the data with their own field-verified traffic data gathered from on-site surveys.

MPSI® has just released an update to its TrafficMetrix® product, version 9.0, containing 1,209,365 traffic count locations. Note that 26,301 data points were added or updated for this release. The geographies updated in this release are:

806,171 of the total counts in version 9.0 are dated Year 2000 or more recent. Also note that this release contains no new counties that required realignment through the TIGER® Accuracy Improvement Program (a program used to improve the alignment of traffic data to the street networks). TIGER has released additional files, so we anticipate more counties will be realigned in future releases.
